So, are any of these conferences something that Scribe's Alley as a whole is interested in attending?
I think I'll personally pass on one this year, but may aim for one next year when I have a full manuscript in hand (God-willing... maybe more importantly me-willing).
I'm going to have to pass on a conference this year as well. I might make it to a fall conference next year. Maybe we can get a group to go. And, you'd better have a finished manuscript - some of us are dying to know what's going to happen!
Two years ago I went to this conference - did the writer track (they had speaker track, women's ministry track too)...it was awesome. Met an agent (advised to build a reader base, hence my blog-i-ness) and publisher (which I presented my book proposal). It was an awesome experience.
